These terms govern your use of re:mind, a professional capability assessment operated by 7Milestone SASU under the BrightNTech brand. They set out what the service measures, the decisions it must never be used to make, what each plan includes, and how the relationship ends.
1. Who you are contracting with
re:mind© is published and operated by 7Milestone SASU, Paris, France, under the BrightNTech brand. The company’s registration details are set out in the legal notice, which forms part of these terms.
2. What the service is
re:mind measures how a person understands, reasons, structures problems, adapts, communicates, decides and executes in realistic professional situations. A standard assessment presents 24 exercises across eight capability dimensions and produces four separate records: a capability profile with a measurement confidence beside every score, a professional expression profile, self-reported preference signals, and an assessment integrity record.
Those four records are never averaged or merged. Scores are produced by deterministic, versioned functions over features extracted from your own answers; no language model authors a score. Every published result must reproduce byte-for-byte from its own stored evidence before it is published, and you can re-run that check yourself at any time.
3. What the service is not
re:mind is developmental by default. It is not a diagnosis or measure of intelligence, personality, emotion, mental health, honesty or employability, and it is not built to be. It infers nothing about a protected characteristic and holds no capability to do so.
You must not use re:mind, or any profile it produces, to make or support a recruitment, hiring, firing, promotion, remuneration or other employment decision about a person. This is not only a contractual restriction: an assessment declaring purpose: "recruitment" is refused by the API with HTTP 422. That purpose stays deferred until validated job relevance, documented human oversight and bias monitoring exist. If you use a profile for such a decision anyway, that processing and its consequences are yours.
A result is a measurement, not a certification, and re:mind does not warrant that it predicts performance in any particular role.
4. Your account
You must give accurate details when you register and keep your password to yourself. An account is personal: the assessment measures whoever answers it, so completing one on someone else’s behalf, or letting someone else complete yours, destroys the only thing the result is good for. Creating a workspace makes you its owner; adding colleagues on a plan that supports seats makes you responsible for their use of it.
A minimum age policy has not yet been set. TO BE COMPLETED minimum age, and whether age is asserted at sign-up.
5. Plans and assessment allowances
Assessment counts are per period and deliberately not unlimited. Retaking a capability assessment repeatedly in a short window measures practice, not capability, so an unlimited plan would sell a worse measurement. The allowances below are generated from the same plan definition the server enforces, so what you are shown and what you are granted cannot differ.
Current plans
All prices exclude VAT. VAT is calculated and applied at checkout by our payment provider from the billing country and tax identifier you give it. Enterprise is contracted rather than self-served, because it involves a data processing agreement and a data residency decision, neither of which survives a checkout page.
Plan features that are advertised but not yet built are gated by the same entitlement flags the server checks, so nothing unbuilt is reachable and nothing unbuilt is billed for as though it were.
6. Payment, renewal and cancellation
Paid plans are monthly subscriptions taken through our payment provider and renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel from Settings, then Plan and billing, then invoices and payment method — this opens the provider’s own portal.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. Your workspace then returns to the free Discover plan, and you keep read access to every profile you have already published. A result is a record about you; losing access to it because a subscription lapsed would not be defensible.
If a payment fails, your subscription is marked past due. You keep read access to everything you already have, and starting a new assessment is paused until the payment succeeds.
Refunds
The service issues no automatic or pro-rata refund when you cancel: cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves the current period running to its end. Any discretionary refund, and the statutory right of withdrawal that may apply to a consumer purchase of a digital service performed immediately, are not settled. TO BE COMPLETED refund policy, and the consumer withdrawal position for B2C purchases.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- share an account, or complete an assessment as or for another person;
- copy, publish or redistribute exercise content, scoring contracts or any part of the catalog, or attempt to extract the scoring key for an exercise;
- automate or script the assessment, circumvent the request rate limits, or probe the service for vulnerabilities without prior written agreement;
- use the service, or a profile from it, for any employment decision described in clause 3;
- resell, sublicense or provide the service to a third party as your own.
We may suspend an account that breaches this clause. Where suspension would remove access to results already published about a person, we will preserve that read access.
8. Your content and our content
The platform, the 24 canonical exercises, their variants, the scoring contracts and the measurement method are proprietary to 7Milestone SASU. Nothing in these terms transfers any right in them to you.
Your answers remain yours. You grant re:mind only what is needed to deliver, score, store and reproduce your assessment and to show you the result. Your responses are never used to train a model, are never sold, and are never disclosed to an employer or anyone else without an action by you. What is held about you, and what happens to it, is set out in the privacy notice.
9. Availability and changes
The service is provided as it stands. No uptime commitment is offered on the self-served plans; any service level for a contracted Enterprise agreement is agreed in that agreement. TO BE COMPLETED whether any availability commitment is offered on paid self-serve plans.
Exercises, scoring versions and the platform change over time. A published result is immutable and always carries the versions it was computed under, so a later change cannot silently alter a result you already hold: a correction is issued as a new result version that names the one it supersedes and why.
These terms may change. Material changes are published with a new version identifier and your acceptance is recorded against it.
10. Limitation of liability
re:mind produces a measurement. Any decision taken on the basis of one — about a career, a role, a team or a person — is the decision of whoever takes it, and 7Milestone SASU is not liable for it.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of opportunity or loss of data. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including for fraud, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by negligence, nor any mandatory right a consumer has under French law.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. Where you contract as a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
The competent court, and the consumer mediation body a consumer may refer a dispute to before litigating, are not yet designated. TO BE COMPLETED competent jurisdiction clause and the consumer mediator (médiateur de la consommation).
